Eligibility
Candidates must have pursued at least a Bachelor's Degree after twelve years of formal schooling with at least 50% marks at graduation level for the unreserved/general category (SC/ST: passing marks; OBC Non-Creamy Layer/EWS/PWD/CW: 45% as per University Rules) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing for the final year examination of their Bachelor's Degree may also apply, provided they expect to fulfil the eligibility criteria when results are declared, which must be submitted to FMS by August 31, 2026. Applicants must have appeared in CAT 2025; those who have not taken CAT 2025 will not be considered. Foreign nationals must have a minimum score of 650 in GMAT or 120 in GRE (exempt if recipients of ICCR or Government scholarship). Candidates seeking admission under SC/ST/OBC/EWS must produce valid category certificates in their own names at the time of interview and admission.

Online Registration
Visit the FMS website at www.fms.edu and fill in the required information correctly on the online registration form. Verify the data entered, as no modifications are allowed after confirmation.

Payment of Registration Fee
Pay the application registration fee of Rs. 1,000 for all applicants (Rs. 350 for SC, ST, and PWD applicants) through the Internet Payment Gateway using credit card, debit card, or other available payment channels. A confirmation of registration will follow upon successful payment.

Shortlisting Based on CAT 2025 Score
A Weighted Score is computed from CAT 2025 sections: VARC (40%), DILR (30%), and QA (30%). An additional 5 marks are added to the Weighted Score for women candidates for shortlisting purposes.

Interview Process
Shortlisted candidates appear for Discussion on Statement of Purpose (10%), Extempore (5%), and Personal Interview (15%). Original certificates and mark sheets must be produced at this stage.

Final Selection
Final selection is based on: Weighted CAT 2025 Score (50%), Class X marks (10%), Class XII marks (10%), Discussion on Statement of Purpose (10%), Extempore (5%), and Personal Interview (15%). An additional 5 marks are awarded to women candidates who appear for the interview. The final merit list is declared after completing the process for all candidates.
