Eligibility
Students with more than 34 months of prior work experience have the option of opting out of the Summer Internship Placement Process (SIPP). Successful completion of the Summer Internship is an essential requirement for graduation from the PGP Programme. The programme accepts students from diverse educational backgrounds including Engineering, Commerce, Science, Arts, and Management.
Application Process

Pre-Placement Talks (PPTs)
Companies conduct Pre-Placement Talks (PPTs) of approximately 45 minutes duration, during which company representatives talk about their organization and internship opportunities. A Q&A session also forms part of the PPT. PPTs for Summer Placements (PGP 2024-26) are held September to October 2024.

Student Applications
Based on company presentations and individual interest, students apply to companies using company application forms or resumes as per company requirements. Applications are forwarded to the company within a specified time frame.

Shortlisting
Companies evaluate applications and send shortlists to the Placement Committee at least one week prior to the commencement of Summer Internship Placement Interviews.

Interviews and Offer Letters
Companies visit the campus to interview shortlisted candidates and extend internship offers. Summer Placement Interviews for PGP 2024-26 are held 21st–26th October 2024. A formal offer letter must be sent to the CDS office within a week of the interview date.

Summer Internship
Students undertake summer internships for a minimum duration of 8 weeks. For the academic year 2023-25, students intern between 1st April 2025 to 31st May 2025.

Summer Internship Evaluation Report (SIER)
The company provides student evaluation and feedback on a prescribed form provided by IIMB. The completed form must reach the CDS office by the prescribed deadline.
